Jennifer Smith
Ms. Jennifer Smith is the academic internship coordinator at the Ignite Institute, where she helps senior Ignite scholars find STEM work-based learning opportunities in the Greater Cincinnati Area. With 16 years of experience teaching middle school (primarily math and STEM courses via Project Lead the Way), Ms. Smith brings a strong background in education to her role. She has two master’s degrees: one from Northern Kentucky University in Teacher as Leader Math Content and another from the University of the Cumberlands in Education Specialist Principal.
Outside of her academic responsibilities, Ms. Smith enjoys staying active by walking, playing pickleball, traveling, and cheering for her favorite team ("Who Dey!"). She has a playful Cockapoo puppy and is a proud mother of three sons.
