Ignite Institute

Mr. Smith began his career with Gateway, teaching Adult Education classes in the Kenton and Grant County Detention Centers. Then he moved to the Boone County Alternative Center for Education. From there he became part of the original staff at the Imagineering Academy, which was the prototype school for Ignite. Mr. Smith enjoys soccer, disc golf, Pearl Jam, and being outside. His wife, Kelli, is a special education coordinator, his son is a Computer Science student at Ignte, and his daughter will be here next year.
