Ignite Institute

My name is Lisa Hartke, and I am thrilled to be a part of this incredible team at Ignite Institute, serving as the special education teacher in the Engineering College. I am currently in my 26th year of teaching, with a diverse background that includes 14 years in special education and 12 years teaching middle school social studies.

Teaching has always been my passion, especially working with students who have unique learning needs. I find great joy in helping them unlock their full potential and achieve their academic goals. My enthusiasm for education extends beyond the classroom, as I am deeply involved in supporting my students both academically and personally.

Outside of the classroom, I am a proud parent to three children who are very active and participate in many sports. Balancing my teaching career with their extracurricular activities keeps me on my toes, but I wouldn't have it any other way!
